If you desire to go deeper in your Christian walk and are ready to experience a life of total dependence on the Lord, then this Belize mission project may be for you!  This mission opportunity will expose you to personal ministry and discipleship challenges that may cause you to depend on God greater than you ever have.   Bring the whole family!  This is a great way to explore another land, bond with each other, and work for the Lord in a powerful way.

Overview:

Step out of your comfort zone…This is a great opportunity to serve, grow, plant spiritual fruit, and minister side-by-side with others. Build a church, feed the homeless, minister to street people, visit an orphanage, prayer walk, and do personal and public evangelism.  If this sounds exciting, then the Belize Mission project may be for you!

Specific Mission Location Information

Location Description:

Belize was the site of several Mayan city states until their decline at the end of the first millennium A.D. The British and Spanish disputed the region in the 17th and 18th centuries; it formally became the colony of British Honduras in 1854. Territorial disputes between the UK and Guatemala delayed the independence of Belize until 1981. Guatemala refused to recognize the new nation until 1992. Tourism has become the mainstay of the economy.

For our trip, we will by building a new church on the outskirts of Hattieville.  This church was founded by our friend, Sister Grace, and is growing without a building.  This church will serve the remote area and allow further penetration into the country for the church.  This project is supported by the local conference and church leadership.

If you are interested in current population figures or wish to know the image of the national flag of Belize, then Belize Travel will be the place to find this all out.
