Over 1000 people receive Bibles in Kisii, Kenya after two weeks crusades.

How many Bibles do you have???  We recently visited a church of 500 in Kenya where only 25 people had Bibles!  How can someone grow in their faith and walk with the Lord without the truth.  How do they defend themselves in this world without knowledge from God’s Word?  And yet, the cost of a Bible in these regions puts it out of reach for most people. 

It is our desire, as encouraged by the Lord, to provide a Bible (the bread of life) to every person that has the desire to understand God's love and truth as presented in His Word.  Once a person gives their life to Christ and accepts His leadership and grace into their lives, they need to tools to continue to grow and build a deeper relationship with our Lord.  They can not turn to local church members for help, as many of them do not have Bibles either.  We often take for granted our access to the Word of God!  In many parts of the world, and specifically the 10-40 window, people can not afford Bibles.  The cost of a Bible in these regions amounts to the equivalent of three days wages.  Yet for us here at home, we could simply skip one meal or our favorite daily drink and provide this food of life, the Bible, to a person in need.  It is our desire and privileged to make Bibles available to all that desire one.  If each person you know would just give $3.00, we could provide so much help!

We try to buy all the bibles we give out in the local region to also provide financial support to the local economy and help local bible workers and literature evangelists.  In 2006 we handed out over 700 bibles and still could not meet the need. In 2008 we delivered 800 bibles.  We still have 600 people waiting for more bibles.  Please help us spread the news!   We can not leave our brothers and sisters in other countries in the dark!

NOTE:  Every dollar donated for Bibles For Life is used to purchase, package, ship, and distribute Bibles to people in need!  We do not take any overhead or administrative expenses from these donations as these are funded separately in a matching grant.
