Local church woman from Texas leads evangelistic meetings in Kenya for over 500

I thank the Lord that I finally got to go on my first mission trip.  Everyone said that it would change me and it certainly did!  I thank Grow Missions for encouraging me to take this step.  My trip to Kenya in November 2008 was so rewarding for me.

You feel connected when you see and experience the lives of people in these remote areas of Kenya.  I came back to the US with more urgency to gather helpers and supplies to send back to those I left in Kenya.  You can see the difference of having "so much" and how it can harm you spiritually.  I know that happiness is sharing and loving and helping those less fortunate than us and also in simplifying our busy lives.  We can learn alot from people in Kenya.  Everyone there was always kind and helpful and most eager to learn the truth about Jesus.  Even though they lack Bibles or any Spirit of Prophecy books, which we have plenty of and often are just too busy to read, they still strive to grow in knowledge and wisdom of Jesus.

Scripture says, 'The harvest is great, but the workers are few', and I believe this is true!  So, I pray that the Holy Spirit will make an appeal to your heart so that you will GO FORTH and be blessed and see blessings.

Once you have experienced a mission trip with Grow Missions or any other mission organization, you will be addicted like I am.  This is better than seeing the world, here you will experience the world!  You will have the privilege of meeting your future family and also of increasing it!

I may never see these new friends of mine in Kenya again on this earth, but we now have many new brothers and sisters that one day very soon will meet together in the sky and go home forever with our Savior.

Go and be a blessing to another!  You should not wait another minute!

May the Lord richly bless you!
