Grow Missions is an outreach organization that leads short-term mission trips and provides long-term support to local children, widows, orphans, and mission families in the areas we visit.  Our main ministry focus is in meeting the humanitarian needs of children and families in Africa and other impoverished locations.  Currently our ministry projects are underway in the countries of Kenya and Burundi where we construct rain water collection systems and provide a means of financial support to local widows, orphans, and elders using our Cows for Life program. 

When we travel into the mission field to build or preach God's Word, we believe and trust that God will raise up local people to continue the work of the harvest after the Grow Missions teams return home.  We believe that equipping local workers so they can continue the work is the most effective way of spreading the love of Jesus Christ in these regions.  This coupled with the creation of a community health center (by providing a source of clean drinking water) provides a total integrated system of local Christian development for each village.

As God raises up individuals who feel called to his work, Grow Missions will train and support them through our ongoing capital projects.  Creating a permanent source of income for these gospel workers from local sources, as in our Cows for Life program, allows them to continue evangelistic meetings, provide spiritual support to new Christians, teach Christian health principles, and provide logistical support for future mission projects.  We provide for both the spiritual and physical needs of the families in each village we travel to.

As a faith-based initiative, our work in the mission field is primarily accomplished by volunteers from various churches and organizations in North America who travel with a Grow Missions coordinator.  Our limited staff work to coordinate mission activities, provide training to our volunteers, and manage all the funded ongoing humanitarian projects such as rain water collection and cows for life. Staff members are self-funded and supported by donations.
