How Does It Work?
We identify areas of needs in developing countries, work with local coordinators in those countries, and then establish, plan, and execute mission projects in these areas to provide for both physical and spiritual needs. Our current focus are in Kenya, Burundi (both in Africa) and remote parts of Central America.
We develop each mission project plan at least six months to one year in advance. Our projects are constructed to combine both teaching and preaching of God’s Word and the delivery of physical support efforts that will provide clean drinking water and living improvements for people in need. We always aim to exceed the expectations of the project plan.
Each mission trip is led by a full-time GROW Missions employee. This is to insure all logistics, finances and team dynamics run smoothly. The mission trips are staffed and supported by volunteers from church groups and organizations in the United States and other developed countries.
After returning from a mission trip, we provide opportunities and support to volunteers who desire to continue the work here at home, in their local communities. GROW Missions, with support of our staff project managers, helps coordinate and guide mission teams at home as they reach out and run local awareness campaigns and fund raising efforts in their communities. These efforts allow the continued growth of our mission volunteers and also offer opportunities to include new churches, businesses, and individuals in our global mission projects. As we build relationships, we continue to connect people globally in Christian fellowship.
