Since 2007, Grow Missions has coordinated six international mission trips, been blessed to participate in over 3500 baptisms, funded Rain Water Collection systems that have provided water for more than 20,000 children in rural schools in Kenya, and provided Cows for Life to over 24 elders and widows, making a new life for those that were once so poor.
Thank you for your support in these efforts!
January 2011: FACTS
1.1 billion people live without clean drinking water
1.8 million people die every year from diarrhoeal diseases.
3,900 children die every day due to contaminated water.
Of the 42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation, 90% are children under 5 years old.
Many people in the developing world, usually women and children, walk more than three hours every day to fetch water that is likely to make them sick.
While the average American uses 132 gallons of water per day, those in developing countries cannot find five.
The water and sanitation crisis claims more lives through disease than any war claims through guns.
